Negative Edge Pools
These striking water features are also known as an “Infinity Edge” or “Vanishing Edge”. One of todays most popular and visually stunning pool features. On negative edge pools, one side of the pool has an “open edge”, meaning that it is even with the water level in the pool. This is simply a large rounded step, generally only a few inches to a foot or so deep, that allows swimmers and loungers alike to dabble in the water without becoming entirely immersed. Baja Steps can also be referred to as a “Tanning Ledge”, a “Sun Shelf”, or a “Shallow Reef”.
